One of a Kind Tennis Ball

This year I watched Serena Williams win the semi-finals at the Bank of the West Classic, a women's tennis competition at Stanford.  Afterwards I waited in line for two hours and got four of the best women's tennis players to sign my tennis ball.  Along with my own signature, this ball is one of a kind.

Isabelle Keilana Rugg

Age: 9
Height: 4' 11''
Weight: 71 lbs
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Brown

Isabelle goes to Audubon Elementary School in Foster City.  She plays softball, tennis, volleyball, and is working towards her black belt in Tae Kwon Do.  Hopefully she will get it early next year.  She is tall for her age, a lefty, and willing to put in the work to become good at all of these sports.

Serena Jameka Williams

Age: 32
Height: 5' 9''
Weight: 150 lbs
Hair Color: Black
Eye Color: Brown

Serena is currently No. 1 in women's singles tennis. She is the only tennis player to have won over 50 million bucks in prize money. She also has a line of clothing with Nike (worth $40 million) and has her own line of designer clothing called "Aneres" as well as a line of handbags and jewelry.

Mary Joe Fernández Godsick

Age: 42
Height: 5' 9''
Weight: 140 lbs
Hair Color: Brown
Eye Color: Brown

Mary Joe won two Gold Medals and one Bronze Medal in the Olympics. One of the Gold Medals for doubles and the Bronze for singles was during the 1992 Barcelona Olympics, the same year that Isabelle's Tae Kwon Do instructor (Master Herb Perez) won his Gold Medal. She is a tennis commentator for ESPN and has coached the U.S. Fed Cup and U.S. Olympic tennis teams.

Pamela Howard Shriver

Age: 52
Height: 6' 0''
Weight: 160 lbs
Hair Color: Brown

Pam placed second at the 1978 US Open as a 16-year-old amateur (losing to Chris Evert). She is known more for playing doubles where she once had a 109 match winning streak between 1983 and 1985. She retired in 1996 and has been doing commentary for ABC, CBS, and ESPN.

Christine Marie Evert

Age: 59
Height: 5' 6''
Weight: 126 lbs
Hair Color: Blonde
Eye Color:

Chris was the No. 1 women's singles tennis player for most of 1974-1981. She has the highest winning percentage of singles matches at just under 90%. On clay courts it is just under 95%. She runs a tennis academy, coaches a high school tennis team, writes for Tennis magazine, and is a tennis commentator for ESPN.

Marvelous Montana

Marvelous Montana

Have you ever been to Montana? Well, I went there for a little vacation. If you go to Montana, which you should, you may need to know what to do and advice for those activities. For that reason I made this for you.

White water rafting

1. If you fall out, keep your feet in front of you with your toes pointing up.
2. When any part of you is outside of the boat and you might hit a rock so pull your body inside.
3. When you are at the front of the boat, have one of your hands up, and have your legs sticking out, that is called RIDING THE BULL.

Camping

1. When lighting a fire, put newspaper, then small dry wood, then large dry wood in a tee-pee form.
2. When using anything to produce fire always light the newspaper and blow on the fire.
3. Please bring the following: pads for your hips while sleeping, sleeping bags, tents, jackets, and a lighter or matches.

Fishing

1. If it is sunny use a gold lure, if it is cloudy use a silver lure, if it is raining don't fish -- you'll get wet.
2. When you can't get fish, change directions, lures, or just fish later.
3. Just so you know, fish eat a lot in the morning and evening.

Horses

1. Keep Calm And Stay On!
2. Show the horse you are not scared of them and that YOU are boss.
3. Stay on the left side while doing anything with the saddle, talk to the horses while approaching and pat or rub their butt while walking closely around the horse.
4. While riding up hill or down hill stay parallel with the trees.

Birds

Some birds you may see that I saw are:

Bald Eagles
Ospreys
Turkey Vultures
Hawks and
Ducks

Thank you for reading Marvelous Montana. I hope you can visit Montana sometime, too!
