Montana!!!!

Montana!!!

Hi guys!  Ihow to draw a  know I already did a post on Montana... but this time, I went by myself! I stayed with my Uncle, Aunt, and two cousins. We did so many cool things! First we went up to Polson to watch my cousins play basketball on Sunday. We got there a little late, so I couldn't see my cousins play. Two of my cousin's teammates owned a cabin near Flathead lake, so we stayed there for the night. In the afternoon we went swimming and canoeing one the lake. We played some games, played volleyball, then ate hotdogs for dinner. After, we all say around a camp fire. Then we played a game that was kind of like a board game, then went to bed. We woke up early the next morning, found a frog in one room, then left for more basketball. We finished up around noon, grabbed some fries and pizza burgers at Lynn's drive in , then went back to the house in Missoula. we hung out there, made dinner, watched some movies, then went to bed. The next day, we went shopping for cowboy boots and hats. I got a hat at the first place, then we went to the Boot Barn for boots. I got some nice cowboy boots, and one of my cousins got a hat. We also did some grocery shopping. On Tuesday, we went rafting down a river. We had 2 canoes. Sometimes I would tie the canoe that I was riding in to the big raft. Then I just relaxed. We stopped at a small island and stayed there for the night. In the morning we saw lots of elk cross a river. We paddled down the rest of the river to our stopping point. we loaded everything onto the truck, then drove back to the house. We stopped by quickly, then drove off to my grandpas. We just were hanging out and playing cards, then we ate tacos for dinner. We stayed there for the night then in the morning we went horse back riding. My cousins stood up on their horses! They are crazy! Then we went huckleberry picking. We at least got 2 1/2 gallons. There were so many! Then we went back over to grandpas for chicken and corn on the cob (dinner) then we went back to Missoula and went to bed after some shows. Friday was more of a relaxing day. We climbed the "M" and went zip-lining. After that, we washed the huckleberries, dried them, then froze them. Saturday was the last day. We cooked huckleberry muffins, got me packed, cooked huckleberry muffins, got me packed, cooked huckleberry muffins, got me packed, said bye, then took me to the airport.

Here are my 5 senses for Montana:

I see many cool rocks as I walk around.
I hear the elk mewing.
I smell all of the freshly picked huckleberries..
I feel a horse nibble my finger as it eats the pellet that is in my hand.
I taste the culture of Missoula, Montana.

This was Summer 2015 I just forgot to publish it... Oops!

2016 - My White Christmas

2016 - My White Christmas

This year, we went up to Montana to celebrate Christmas with our family!!! It was really fun, and since it was Christmas time, there were lots of cookies to choose from. The homemade ones were the best, though. Okay! Back to Montana! It snowed a lot while we were there. As usual, I'm going to add the 5 senses thing that I usually do, but I'm also going to add a acrostic poem into this entry. So... here we go!!!

Montana has many things you can see, hear, feel, and smell. Here are some examples of them:

I see many, many silver dollar coins as we visit the tourist attraction, the 50,000 Silver Dollar Bar.
I smell wet dogs as they play in the snow.
I hear the horses whinny as Buddy, the dog, startles them.
I feel the cold snowflakes numb my face, hands, and toes.
I taste the culture of Montana, again!

The Land of the Terrific Tae Kwon Do

The Land of the Terrific Tae Kwon Do

I bet you all have heard of the world above earth. Some think it does not exist, but it does. Something very interesting about this land is that it is only for girls, the boys have there own space almost exactly like the girl's, except it is under the Earth. Two major things you need to know about it, it is called The Land of the Terrific Tae Kwon Do and it never gets dark there (so they can practice day and night). There areonly two ways to get there. One is just a visit, the other can be permanent if you want. The way you get to visit, is when you get a new belt in Tae Kwon Do. As soon as you put the new belt on you are transported to The Land of the Terrific Tae Kwon Do. After half a day (12 hours), you are transported back to where your parents are. You are able to stay there permanently if you are a black belt and you are older than 15.

Jane Smith, a black belt, was one of many that was old enough to stay and chose to. Jane had three really close friends named Emily, Sofia, and Christina who also were living permanently in The Land of the Terrific Tae Kwon Do, and visiting Earth every now and then.

One day, Jane noticed a new girl that had perfect kicks, punches and somehow never got hurt. Jane's three friends fell over her and left her side.

Jane thought, "I probably would go over there if I didn't think this girl is a show-off!" She finally decided to go over and introduce herself. " Hi, my name is Jane Smith and I live here in The Land of the Terrific Tae Kwon Do. What is your name? Are you here for a visit, or are you going to stay permanently?" Jane's friends giggled.

"Who doesn't know this legend's name?" said Emily.

           "Yeah!" Sofia and Christina said.

"It's okay, guys, back off,"  said the new girl, surprising Jane, "My name is Julie. I just decided that I permanently want to stay. You don't sleep, right?"

"Correct," the other three girls chirruped very cheerfully.

"Where did you go to learn Tae Kwon Do before you came here?" Jane asked.

"Well, I went to Gold Medal. I got my black belt last year." Julie said. Jane's  eyes narrowed.

"Gold Medal and my school, Universal Studios are archenemies!" she thought. "Um, excuse me Julie," Jane said, "but I have have to do something." And with that, she dashed away and punched her punching bag (because she was mad) until her knuckles hurt. After that she decided to spy on her friends and Julie. She found them in Julie's room. She crawled through the furnace (she was a good spy) and was listening when she heard her name.

"What does Jane like to do?" It was Julie. Each of the other three girls told Julie one thing Jane liked to do.

          "Art" said Sophia.

          "Star watching" said Christina.

"Softball" said Emily.  All three girls were correct. Jane loved to do all of those.

That was proven when she went to earth that night to watch stars and to draw them. While she was doing that she was feeling terrible that other people were talking about her behind her back, but she felt worse that the "other people" were her friends. All of a sudden, a  hand touched her in the dark, making her jump.

          "Who is it?!" she shouted.

"Don't worry, it is just me, Julie."

"Julie? What are you doing here?!" Jane was still mad that Julie was talking behind her back.

"I was told that you like art, star watching, and softball. I can see that on your picture." she said, gesturing at the painting which had stars forming a baseball diamond, "I know this is none of my business, but why do you always avoid Emily, Christina, Sofia, and me? It's okay. You can tell me."

"Ummm... I guess I was jealous of how good you were. Also I felt you were taking my friends away from me and you kind of intimidated me."

"Oh. So, are things good between us because I wanted to be friends with all four of you."

"Yeah, things are all good between us."  And with that they shared a big hug. After a couple seconds Jane felt more arms around her. Pulling out, she saw her three friends joining in. " Where did you come from?! Wait a minute... were you guys spying on us?" As they nodded, everyone laughed. Then they zoomed back to The Land of the Terrific Tae Kwon Do and lived a happy life!

3D Printing

Hellllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today I will be showing you how to 3D print!!! Here are the steps!

1. First find a design on Thingiverse. (turtles are good to start with).

2. Download it to your folder and open your folder.

3. Get the SD card from the printer.

4. Turn on the power switch that's in the back.

5. Press the 'M' button that is on your Makerbot replicator  and use the arrows to select 'Preheat' which should be on the screen. 'M' is to select.

6. Take the SD card and put it in the laptop. Copy what you want to print onto the SD card.

7. Wait for the printer to heat and put the SD card back in the printer.

8. Take out the color from the tube and replace it with the color you want.

9. Select what you want to print on the screen.

10. Watch it print.

11. when it's done use something with a hook and scrape what you made off of the platform so you can grab it with out touching the platform.

12. Grab it and pry off the grid looking thing underneath it.

13. You are done.  YAY!!!!

I hope you enjoyed 3D printing and I hope all that you do with it will turn out well. Play around with different colors and soon you will be able to make tons of stuff by 3D printing. Good luck and keep experimenting!

Yosemite National Park

Yosemite National Park

There is a deer,  a chipmunk, and a blue jay that lived in Yosemite. they were having a chat one day when a girl named Isabelle came up. The chipmunk and the jay disappeared leaving the deer standing alone. She thought the girl by the name of "Isabelle" seemed nice and decided to talk to her, saying "Hi".  Isabelle seemed very surprised when she said that.  She said, "You...TALK?"  "I sure do."  "Wow.  So, I'm Isabelle, what's your name?"  "I'm Snowy since I don't mind snow and I'm white.  Here, let me show you the park."

They spent all day looking at Half Dome.  They decided to finish off by seeing the CA Tunnel Tree and the Giant Grizzly.  "Wow, that is HUGE" Isabelle said as the approached the Giant Grizzly.  "Oh, hey!  There are my friends the chipmunk and the blue jay.  Here let me get them.  They also talk, you know.  They are very shy, unlike me.  I'm like that because my Mom was like that."  And with that she trotted away only to come back a minute later with her friends.  "Isabelle, this is chipmunk and blue jay.  Chipmunk and blue jay, this is Isabelle"  "Hello.  Nice to meet you."  "Good evening", the animals said shyly.  "It's okay guys" said Snowy.  "Tomorrow I proclaim we all share our activities with each other."  Anod so they did, waking up the next day bright and early and getting a lesson on how to catch worms and bugs.  Then they brought what the caught to blue jays family who squeeled in delight.  Then Isabelle learned to climb trees and gather nuts, which they brought to Chipmunk's family who were also very happy.  Snowy decided they would not like grass so they got an interesting lesson on the difference between girl and boy deer.  Last but not least Isabelle took them all to the swimming pool and taught every one except blue jay how to swim various strokes that included: backstroke, butterfly, and free style.  At the end of the day, Snowy let Chipmunk and Isabelle ride on her back while she followed bluejay who was flying on top of them, on a little tour of the park.  They all slept on a tree and woke up the next morning facing the time where Isabelle had to leave to Foster City.

Sewing

     Sewing

I would like to own a sewing machine, but first I will tell you about my first day of camp couture          (a camp run by a 2nd place winner in Project Runway) and what I will do with my sewing machine.

Camp Couture

My first day at camp couture was AMAZING!
I made a name tag (my name stitched), two pillows, and a awesome bag! Here are the four rules of sewing:
1.WATCH YOUR FINGERS
2.STOP IF YOUR MACHINE DOES NOT SOUND RIGHT
3.D,JVNDFKGHFBFGUHKUTHGTKRUHTFYGHJRU
4.GUHFGLOHCRO;GJHLITUTLHYUTU

I learned how to thread a bobbin, turn on the corners, and to make a purse you need to get stiffer fabric.

What to do

What I plan to do with my machine is:

1. make pets for my doll
2. make stuffies
3. make Christmas gifts
4. make matching clothing for my doll and me
5. be AWESOME
