Marvelous Montana
Have you ever been to Montana? Well, I went there for a little vacation. If you go to Montana, which you should, you may need to know what to do and advice for those activities. For that reason I made this for you.
White water rafting
1. If you fall out, keep your feet in front of you with your toes pointing up.
2. When any part of you is outside of the boat and you might hit a rock so pull your body inside.
3. When you are at the front of the boat, have one of your hands up, and have your legs sticking out, that is called RIDING THE BULL.
Camping
1. When lighting a fire, put newspaper, then small dry wood, then large dry wood in a tee-pee form.
2. When using anything to produce fire always light the newspaper and blow on the fire.
3. Please bring the following: pads for your hips while sleeping, sleeping bags, tents, jackets, and a lighter or matches.
Fishing
1. If it is sunny use a gold lure, if it is cloudy use a silver lure, if it is raining don't fish -- you'll get wet.
2. When you can't get fish, change directions, lures, or just fish later.
3. Just so you know, fish eat a lot in the morning and evening.
Horses
1. Keep Calm And Stay On!
2. Show the horse you are not scared of them and that YOU are boss.
3. Stay on the left side while doing anything with the saddle, talk to the horses while approaching and pat or rub their butt while walking closely around the horse.
4. While riding up hill or down hill stay parallel with the trees.
Birds
Some birds you may see that I saw are:
Bald Eagles
Ospreys
Turkey Vultures
Hawks and
Ducks
Thank you for reading Marvelous Montana. I hope you can visit Montana sometime, too!
